Versace Purse/Bag Cake

Written by Larissa Volnitskaia

Versace Bag Purse Cake

A very special cake for a very special Birthday girl!

A true tasteful and tasty piece of Versace :)

Here is a couple of images I was working with while trying to recreate the piece:

Inside of it are two cakes: Milk Chocolate cake with chocolate truffle filling and Yellow Lemon cake.

32 servings. All accents and details are edible!

And here is a sneak peak of the inside:

Happy Birthday Carlene, and many more to come! And thank you for a nice picture of the inside of your cake!

I am craving for this cake, fashionable at the same time. Chocolate at the bottom is such a surprise.

The idea of a "purse" cake is fascinating. The Louis Vuitton handbag cake looks so adorable.

Thank you Rosa! For the "fabric" I recreated the logo and background pattern using vector drawing software on my computer and then used my trusty food printer and edible paper.

Larissa: I love your blog! How did you make the design on the fondant for the Versage Bag? This cake is really amazing!

Gayle, for the Rice Krispies I omit butter, so I make it with rice and marshmallows only. For the strings, I used marshmallow fondant and a clay gun. HTH.
