High Heel Shoe Cake Topper (gum paste) - cake decorating techniques, sugar craft.

Level: Advanced


You will be given all the necessary tools and materials to work in class and walk away with the following:

- beautiful finished high heel shoe with sugar diamond brooch

- high quality food grade silicone shoe heel mold

- food grade silicone diamond brooch mold

- high heel shoe prop for drying the sole

- all necessary templates


 

Class Date: To be determined based on number of pre-registrations. The class will be given on some Saturday or Sunday 10am - 2pm.

Class cost: $150

Duration: 4h (please, keep in mind that class may run over)

Class capacity: 6 students.

You can either register for a class if it is already scheduled and listed on Class Reristration Homepage, or leave your name in the News Subscriptions form on the left and I will notify you when a new class is cheduled so you may be the first to register.

I now offer group registrations for classes with discount depending on number of registrants.


 

What will you learn:

- how to mold heel

- how to assemble gum paste shoe

- how to create a very realistic contrasting lace effect

- how to make a brooch mold

- how to cast isomalt sugar

 

What to bring with you:

- an apron

- a change of comfortable shoes (no open toes, please)

- an empty (cake) box to take finished product with you (6" or larger)

- your photo camera: you are allowed to take pictures during the class and use them for your own references only, just don't publish any step by steps anywhere. Video and voice recording devices are not permitted during class.

 

 

Location: 61 rue de la Poudriere, H4G 3M2 (please, see map for driving directions). Free parking is available on the street.

Less then 1 min walking from Lasalle metro.

 

 

Full payment is required at the time of your presence confirmation.

Receipts available upon request.

Please, note: if no payment or response is received within 3 days after your registration, it will be canceled automatically and your place would be offered to someone else interested in this class.

Registrations fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another class. No exceptions.

If for any reason, Key Art Studio Cakes should cancel a class, a full refund will be offered to the student.

Key Art Studio Cakes reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment up until 24 hours before the class. We reserve the right to change class schedules without prior notice. If a cancellation or changes occur, a full refund will be given to students.


Classes will begin on time. The door will be opened 5 minutes prior class beginning. Every attempt will be made to keep the class running smoothly and on time, however some classes may run over, so please plan accordingly. Every attempt will be made to cover all of the material outlined in the class description. However in some cases, it may be necessary to change the class outline due to time limitations and/or other unavoidable situations.
Cameras are allowed in class. Video and voice recording devices are not permitted during class. Those found to be recording will be asked to leave. We ask that you refrain from posting step-by-step in progress pictures of our classes & the material covered.



Class dates are subject to change. Registered (pre-paid)
students will be consulted if any changes are to be made
and classes will be rescheduled accordingly.

Please note, that I would not be able to accept cake orders and teach classes from July 10 through September 10 2012 due to summer vacation and travelling with classes and training programs.
